The first version of Why Am I Here? began when Joshua was still in GRADE school (AGE 8) - a simple coloring book inspired by the late great Dr. Myles Munroe’s five questions of purpose and even forEworded by him.
Years later, the idea found new life when Joshua became a father. Looking at his son, LJ, he wanted to place a book in his library where the character looked like him and echoed the truth of the greatest book ever written - the Bible. That desire became this new generation of Why Am I Here?
Joshua’s hope is that every copy placed in a child’s hands introduces them to the journey of identity and purpose early - That they won’t waste years believing they have to be older, more accomplished, or more experienced before God can use them.
And like his father - he can inspire a rising generation to figure out who they are early!

Why Am I Here? is a vibrantly colorful children’s book designed to help the next generation begin discovering their God-given identity, gifts, and purpose. It takes big ideas about calling and makes them simple, memorable, and fun for young minds.

The book is written for children, but its message can grow with them. Younger children can enjoy the illustrations and rhymes, while older children can begin having deeper conversations about identity, gifts, emotions, and purpose.

It doesn’t simply tell children that they’re special - it helps them begin understanding why. The message moves beyond self-esteem toward identity, character, calling, and becoming who God created them to be.
